Economic and Trade Events in Jiangsu, China - Download 2012 Schedule

Jiangsu-events
Each year the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade in Jiangsu (CCPIT-JS), in cooperation with other key government organizations and business associations, hosts a wide range of events designed to encourage international business in Jiangsu, with Jiangsu companies.

This year, 16 events are scheduled.

First up is China International Import Expo which takes place March 29-31 at Kunshan Convention & Exhibition Centre in Jiangsu Province. The event will bring together heads of international chambers of commerce and associations, leaders in the Chinese and foreign business circles, representatives of well-known enterprises, and academics to share ideas and opportunities in global trade.

Jiangsu is a center of economic development in China and has the highest GDP per capita of all Chinese provinces. It's home to many of the world's leading exporters of electronic equipment, chemicals and textiles. Since 2006, Jiangsu has been China's largest recipient of foreign direct investment. Nanjing, Suzhou and Wuxi are three major cities in the province. (Ref.)

Other key events planned for 2012 include the China International Mechanical & Electrical Hardware Expo in April, the 7th International Retailers' Sourcing Fair at the end of May, and the 4th China Enterprises Outbound Investment Conference in June.
