Business Networking with FC Club Beijing

FC Club's popular Business, Finance & Global Mobility Social Networking Evening regularly attracts more than 100 Beijing-based professionals and business people interested in making new business and social contacts.

I attended the most recent event, held this past Tuesday at the Scarlett Wine Bar & Restaurant in the fashionable Hotel G.

The event attracted a mix of Beijingers, expats and foreigners like myself.

Because the primary purpose of the event is networking, it's easy to make introductions. On this night I met and got to know more than a dozen interesting new people, including a business etiquette consultant from the UK, a young Chinese finance professional looking for career opportunities, and a highly experienced and savvy China business expert from Belgium.

Scarlett Bar is an ideal venue for an event like this. It's centrally located and conducive to networking. Food and cocktails are available at the bar, and the room is not too noisy so conversation is comfortable.

Cost, for those who preregistered, was only 80RMB with one complimentary drink. Those who didn't preregister paid 130RMB.
