Oriented Beijing Happy Hour Mixes Business and Pleasure

In China, the old cliche that you can never have too many professional contacts is certainly true. And for professionals and business people located in Beijing, one easy way to make new contacts is at Oriented Beijing's Happy Hour networking event.

This week's event, held at Loong Bar in the JW Marriott, attracted about 100 networkers, both local Chinese and foreigners, mostly under the age of 35.

On this particular night, business networking came second to social networking. Nevertheless, hundreds of name cards were exchanged and many new relationships forged.

Event organizer Oriented.com was founded in Greater China in 2002. It's aim is to provide networking opportunities for international professionals worldwide who are interested in Asian business and partnerships.
