Still Time to Register for SME Fair in Guangzhou

The 7th annual China International SME Fair (CISMEF) takes place September 15 to 18 in Guangzhou. Registration is still open for visitors wishing to attend the fair.

CISMEF is the largest exhibition in China for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). This year the event will be held at the huge, ultra-modern Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center.

Since 2004 CISMEF has attracted over 15,000 exhibitors and 1.1 million visitors from around the world. Exhibitors come from various industries including electronics, household appliances, textiles and garments, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, building materials, furniture, and toys and gifts. Service industries such as information services and financial services are also represented.

Each year a country which is economically complementary to China is invited to co-host the fair. This year's co-host is Australia.

CISMEF is jointly hosted by several state agencies including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
