Women in Business Focus Group Presents: Is Feminism Dead?
Women in Business Focus Group Presents:
Is Feminism Dead? What does it mean for us in the corporate world...?
Ms Zhu Zhu, Executive Vice Chairman of Shanghai Women Entrepreneurs Association; General President of China Shanghai SFECO Group
Ms Wang Zhousheng, Novelist and Academician at Shanghai Academy of Social Science
The British Chamber is pleased to be running this exclusive lunch with the Shanghai Women Entrepreneurs Association, following the success of our first event with the group last autumn. You will have the opportunity not only to listen to two distinguished speakers, but also network and build friendships with some of the most senior executives in Shanghai's business circles. SWEA members lead many of China's most successful, large corporations.
We will learn that independent studies show women are currently scoring better at school and university than their male counterparts and that they are adding value to businesses across many sectors, yet do not always reap the rewards or status deserved.
Wang Zhousheng will share some stories and anecdotes which have informed her substantial research into the 'gender agenda'. She will give us a fascinating insight into why feminism should still matter to a new generation of women.
